TAKE GOOD CARE

Gerberas bring colour and joy, and you want to enjoy them to the fullest. Therefore we provided some care tips.

Always use a clean (preferably) glass vase.

Cut about 2-3 cm off the stem at an angle with a clean sharp knife or scissors.

Don’t use too much water and add a packet of cut flower food. If you don’t have this on hand, you can also add a small drop of chlorine to the water.

Gerberas don’t have leaves, but other flowers in a mixed bouquet might. Gerberas are sensitive to contamination. So make sure there are no leaves in the water. Also, choose enough freedom of movement for the flowers. A too full or too small vase causes suffocation and thus cloudy and polluted water.

If you refresh the water regularly and cut an extra piece off the stem, you will enjoy your flowers even longer.

Do not place the vase in direct sunlight, near the heating or ripening fruit. Also, be careful with drafts.
